KOGGAR
The KOGGAR (Kodak Old Gits Golf Association Reunion) Cup came into existence when a group of Kodak work colleagues, who often enjoyed a round of golf together, found that due to retirements and redundancies, many made on 31st March 2005, days on the golf course became less frequent.
It was put forward that one day a year, the last Friday in March, an annual tournament would be arranged for The KOGGAR Cup to be contested by a group of good friends, dinner would follow along with the presentation of the KOGGAR Cup and other prizes.
KOGGAR was first played at Aldenham Golf Club, 2006, the first 'Kog' to have their name engraved onto the cup was Kevin Player.
Invited guests are welcome on the day and are included in all aspects of the day, including a winners trophy, nearest the pin and longest drive prizes, but along with current Kodak employees are not allowed to take the KOGGAR Cup, ex-employees only are permitted to have their name on the cup.
